Omid Kamvari
BA(Hons), AADipl, AAMsc, PgDip, ARB, RIBA

Omid completed his Architectural degree at the University of Greenwich before moving to the Architectural Association to complete his Diploma and Masters degree.

On completing his Masters Degree from the Emergent technologies and design course he started work at Foster and Partners.

During this time he worked on numerous projects including a retail park in Bratislava, Mixed used development in Santa Guilia Italy, commercial offices in Morocco, and hotel developments in Rimini Italy and also Libya. Previous to this he spent a year working at the offices of Allies and Morrison where he was part of the Olympic Masterplaning team for the 2012 Olympics.
After leaving Foster and Partners he joined Hamilton’s where he worked on advanced modelling processes and their incorporation into the design structure at Hamilton’s, becoming the group leader for the Hamilton’s advanced modelling Unit. He has also worked for Make Architects on numerous project ranging from Residential development in southwest London to Conservation centres in the Gulf and also Skidmore Ownings and Merril(SOM). In 2009 he established Kamvari Architects, a Design consulting Firm based in London and Tehran working on issues relating to Architecture and Economy and performance orientated design.

His work has been published and exhibited widely and He has been involved in teaching at the different levels at the AA since 2007, he is currently the course director for the Tehran and Muscat visiting schools.
